Nancy Chase, owner of Nancy Chase Interiors, began her decorating career more than 25 years ago when friends requested her assistance in beautifying their homes. It made sense to her, given her appreciation of art and design, to help others bring out the beauty of their homes by enhancing their living areas, not reinventing them. She believes in incorporating family heirlooms into homes while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Being a born-and-bred Southerner, Nancy was honored to act as advisor and decorator during the renovation of Windsor House Plantation on Edisto Island in 2000. She worked with the owners and architect to maintain the integrity of the historical home while creating an attractive, comfortable l iving environment. The home was featured on the Edisto Island Historic Preservation Society Tour of Homes. After receiving rave reviews in 2000, the owners were asked to participate in the Tour of Homes again in 2006.

Nancy’s latest enterprise, “Gilding the Lily” is her staging branch of Nancy Chase Interiors. It made sense to Nancy, who’s also a REALTOR®, to expand her creative abil ities by combining the two, appreciably enhancing the values of homes on the market. Nancy works part-time as a licensed assistant to Gail McLain at Century 21 Eulalie Salley & Co. in Aiken. Currently, she is decorating a home for the Turner’s Pointe Parade of Homes and the Turner’s Point Clubhouse.

Nancy’s goal is to create welcoming home environments that incorporate the homeowners’ treasures and to produce custom designs that reflect the owners’ interests and lifestyles.

W & I Builders, Inc. was formed by Marty Watts and Jeff Ilsley, whose mission is to ensure your home-building experience is one you will enjoy.

Marty Watts is a hands-on builder with a solid background in custom home building and construction. Marty has more than 20 years of experience in all areas of construction and is a licensed residential and general contractor. Marty is a native of West Columbia, where he lives with his wife, Robin.

Jeff Ilsley is an emergency room physician at Bamberg Hospital and resides in Chapin with his wife, Susan.

W & I Builders specialize in quality custom homes in Lexington County, Richland County and surrounding areas. Clients are always completely involved in the building of their new homes and receive personal attention from the builder during the entire construction process.
